Fitness testing of high school students not currently enrolled in PE will be taking place soon.  The students will be taking the fitness tests during their regularly scheduled English class period.  Weather permitting, the cardiovascular PACER test will be administered outside.  The muscular strength/endurance and flexibility tests will be given on a separate day, and will be done indoors.  Students are encouraged to change out of their school uniforms, but at the least will need to bring shorts/pants and tennis shoes on both of their test days.  If your student has an injury or illness that will prevent them from participating, please send a written note with them, or email Terry Woods with the circumstances.  If your student uses an inhaler, they are encouraged to bring that with them on the day the PACER is scheduled.  For more information regarding the Fitnessgram tests, protocols, or rationale please visit:  www.fitnessgram.net
