Hello FWAFA Families!
As you know, Team Scotland is working on making their way to the American High School Theatre Festival in Edinburgh in August 2008. Our major fundraiser for the year is to collect aluminum cans and scrap metal.
A big THANK YOU to all who brought cans this past Friday! This is a reminder that we'll be collecting can every Friday morning. Certainly, you CAN send them with your student during the week, but Friday mornings will be our official collection day.
We have an account set up at American Recycling at 3750 N. Main St. in Fort Worth, TX (76106). Our account number is 1870.
In addition to aluminum and tin cans, if you have ANY scrap metal item that you need to recycle, you may take those items directly to American Recycling and they will credit our account.
We are also collecting old cell phones and printer cartridges. Please send those with your student to bring to Mrs. Jones' room.
Not only is this an incred ibly easy way to raise money for our students, it's an important lesson on caring for environment! We're excited that you'll be a part of our recycling efforts.
THANKS!!
~Mrs. Jones
